Mina is a 2 year old female Cross-Breed. Mina is a Spaniel size girl, who is a little over 2 years old and she was found last winter shivering away in a pile of leaves. It was -10 that night so the rescuer took her in for the fear of finding her frozen the morning. The search for her forever home begun. The rescuer noticed she had a slight limp and took Mina to the vet. The x-ray showed that she had an old injury to her hip, most likely from being clipped by a car. She had surgery but the limp never went away. She is super sweet and loves other dogs and people. She can be left alone for a few hours without being destructive and loves her walkies!
Mina could live with a very dog savvy cat but ideally we’re looking for a cat free home for her because she thinks its fun to chase them in playful manner unless they stand up for themselves. She’s a very gentle dog who loves snuggles on the sofa. Its time to find her, her forever family! She recently arrived to the UK and has been to a UK vet where her whole body was x-rayed just to make sure she’s not in pain as she still doesn’t really use her back leg.
The results were shocking, the poor girl also had a broken pelvis which healed on its own, and fractured spine, which also healed on its own. The UK vet said the hip operation in Serbia was done correctly and that is not the reason for her limp. He also confirmed that Mina is no pain and her limp is due to nerve damage. She doesnt really have full control of that leg but it does not stop her from running just as fast as the other dogs or running around like a loon. Sometimes she uses her leg, sometimes she doesnt. It is the way it is, and it will not get better/worse.
Could you offer this special dog a home?
Mina is neutered, up to date with her jabs, microchipped and has her very own passport in case you fancy taking her away on a holiday with you.
Please note, a home check will be carried out prior to adoption and adoption contract and donation apply.
