Missy – 4 year old female Labrador Retriever
Missy is a 4 year old black Labrador girl has been signed over to the RSPCA due to her and one of the other dogs not getting on and her current owner not coping, as a result she is being kept outside but she has a big shed with a massive area to exercise etc… although she’s only being walked a couple of times a week. She is being rehomed from her current home as she will be too stressed in boarding kennels. She will be wormed, flead, microchipped and vaccinated in due course. She is in season now so can’t be spayed till at least 3 months time.
Missy is a very friendly dog but can be insecure or nervous of some new people, she can be a bit vocal with some but once she’s introduced she’s fine. She travels well, is house trained and is good on the lead but she tends to get over excited when she sees other dogs, she responds well to distractions with treats and commands; we believe she’d get on more with dogs generally if she was off lead.
Missy is not food or toy possessive and knows lots of commands; generally very obedient. She loves to play ball and fetch and adores a good fuss. She’s fine around children but we would rather she’s rehomed without and as the only pet, a rural home in a quiet area as a house dog; with someone who has lots of time for her and lots of love to give.
