Little Monty is looking for his forever home. He is a 5 year old possible Dachund mix who has obviously had a hard life in the past and is very wary of strangers. He bonds quickly and strongly with his main carer and gets on really well with other dogs but doesn’t show himself well to potential adopters as he won’t approach people he doesn’t know and may growl.
Monty is a really easy dog in the right home. He is affectionate, housetrained, able to be left for short periods of time, non destructive and walking well on a lead. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
He needs a calm, preferably female only, adult home with someone who can see beyond his fear to the smashing little dog that he is, and who will let him take things at his own pace. In foster in Warminster.
*Update August 2018*
Why, oh why hasn’t this sweet lad found his forever home yet? Monty is a little timid still but has come out of his shell so much and is really loving when he knows you. He is a small size boy who would prefer a calm, quiet home where someone is around a good part of the day and where there is another little dog to do zoomies around the garden with. He is about 5 years old, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Monty is still nervous of men so his main carer in the home would need to be female. A really lovely little boy.
