Mungo

Mungo is a sweet natured 16 month old male thought to be Whippet, Greyhound, Collie cross boy who was recently surrendered into our pound. Poor Mungo was handed in by his owners as he was an only dog with full time workers who were leaving him without other dog company and he was barking.

Mungo is now in foster with three other Lurchers all of whom he gets on well with. He is clean in the house and settles well in his crate over night BUT does still get anxious and shreds his blanket when he is left during the day for short periods of time. He manages an hour but anymore than that leaves him unhappy. His foster carers are working with his insecurities though and with good off leash romps this is already improving.

Mungo is not cat friendly but does get on with other dogs and is great with children. He also walks well on leash but can pull if he gets excited. Mungo is a very young lad still and will be fine when he settles into a permanant environment and we dont envisage the seperation problems to last for long.

Mungo needs a home with another young dog who can also have a good run off leash and with an owner that is around all or most of the time to begin with. Mungo is vaccinated, deflead, dewormed, micro-chipped and neutered.
