Myffy is a four-year old Old English Sheepdog who is being fostered in RCT, South Wales. She is a wonderful girl who loves life and adores people. She is a bit of a princess and as soon as she meets you will wave her toy at you and demand that you play. In fact, she won’t leave you alone until you do. Myffy is a real heart stealer will play all day if given the chance.
We took her in when she was just 12 weeks old. She suffers with a condition called Ectopic Ureter, which is a congenital abnormality that makes her incontinent. She has had a couple of operations in that time and we nearly lost her on two occasions. She has had one kidney removed and the remaining one is failing but you wouldn’t think this to look at her. She is bouncy and full of fun. As she does leak urine she has got special pants to wear but when no one is watching she is a bit of a sneak and will remove them.
In the home Myffy does guard her food. Because of this issue she will not be rehomed with small children so any youngsters in the house will have to be teenage. She isn’t great around other dogs but does get on with the boys – as long as they are older, calmer and a big breed. Diva Myffy certainly doesn’t share and won’t have any females stealing the limelight as she is far too important! She can’t live with cats.
We are looking for a very special long term foster home for her where she will be treasured for however long she has left. We have no idea of Myffy’s life expectancy but we will cover all of her veterinary costs, grooming costs and even provide her with food if required. Can you open your heart to her?
Prospective long-term fosterers will be expected to travel to Myffy’s foster home in RCT, South Wales.
