Myrtle – 2 year old female Cross-Breed

Myrtle is a 2 year old female Cross-Breed. Myrtle is large girl about the size of a large Retriever. She weighs about 30 kilos. She is ultra friendly with people and loves to meet other dogs, but with both of these because of her size and eagerness people and dogs alike can be put off. She has loved with 3 children, the youngest of which was 4 when we got her and she has never once snarled, growled, nipped or shown any aggression whatsoever to any of us. Personality wise you could not ask for are nicer, friendlier girl. She is just a big fluffy love machine.

She enjoys long walks absolutely anywhere. She just loves being out and about. She travels well in the car. She loves the water and will always jump in for a swim whenever we are at the seaside or by a lake. She loves company of the human and canine variety and always likes to be close to one of us. She loves a good chew and on other chewable toys. She loves toilet rolls and pulling the stuffing out of soft toys. Which is okay when the toys are hers! She is a barker, however in the right home without a high number of neighbours and with training this is something that can be fixed with the help of a good trainer.

I also think if Myrtle was more relaxed in her new home with a strong pack leader she would bark less and not feel the need to protect her family by warning them when others are near. She doesn’t have a huge appetite and is quite a polite eater, nibbles her kibble! Although given half a chance she will steal the food from off her humans plate! Especially pizza and sausages! She is completely house trained and we never have any problems in this area. Myrtle is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. She is currently in Kent region, home check and adoption fees apply.
