Neo is a very sweet 5 year old male white and brindle Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He came into our care from the inspectors. He was signed over as his owner was in poor health and unable to look after him. Neo was very nervous when he first arrived but he has since come out of his shell. He is extremely friendly and affectionate and is a big softie. He appears to have lived quite a sheltered life as we were informed that he wasn’t walked much in his previous home.
We have been introducing him to the joys of going for a walk by building up his confidence and gradually increasing the length of walks. Neo has been such a clever boy and has already done so well in a short space of time. He walks beautifully on the lead and is well behaved. Neo is finding life in kennels quite stressful as, like many Staffordshire Bull Terrier, he adores human company. It is essential that he goes to a home where he will have lots and lots of company.
Neo could be rehomed with children of secondary school age. We don’t think he has been socialised much with cats or other dogs so it would be best for him to be an only pet. He behaves very politely around other dogs that he meets on walks though.
