Nina is approximately 6 years old, Collie size and a crossbreed. Nina originally came over from Romania in September 2013. Nina has an old injury to her leg, a suspected road traffic accident. It causes her no pain or discomfort and needs no intervention. A couple of weeks after Nina’s arrival we noticed bleeding, we knew she had been spay so she wasn’t in season. After an examination at the vets, a nasty looking growth just inside her vagina was discovered. The lump was removed and sent away but unfortunately turned out to be cancerous which could likely return at or around that area. Just over two years later Nina has gained weight and is fighting fit. She has showed no signs of deterioration. Last month she went for a check up and got a clean bill of health. The area the growth was removed from was examined and there is no sign of it returning. The vets agreed we could now rehome Nina.
Nina would suit a retired couple/person. She is okay with children but worries with sudden movement and to be honest would prefer a quieter life. Nina cannot live with cats. She is okay with dogs she has befriended but doesn’t take to all dogs she meets.
Nina is a real sweetie with people she meets considering what she has been through and has become a favourite to many.
