Norris is a 14 month old male Cross-Breed. Handsome Norris is a gorgeous black and tan youngster with a soft wirey coat. He is a friendly affectionate medium sized chap with a nice personality. He is such a very friendly boy, and he loves the company of other dogs and he is living with 2 other smaller dogs at the moment quite happily and a 13 year old child. Norris actually needs doggy company and so we are looking for a new home with other friendly dogs, with a decent sized secure garden and someone who can easily hold him on lead as he pulls a little.
Norris can also live with cats but is frightened of them. We think he would be okay with older children over 10 years old as he is not used to small children. Norris loved all his puppy friends in the refuge when he lived in Spain, and was very affectionate with all the volunteers. Current location is in a foster home in Birmingham, West Midlands.
Foster Report: Norris has been in foster with me for four weeks now and is relaxed and enjoying life in a home. Norris is a beautiful dog, both to look at and in his personality. He is affectionate, playful and a very clever boy, and he very much looks to my dogs for comfort and guidance. Norris is left in a large crate in the house with one of my dogs for a couple of hours without a problem. When out and about Norris is good on the lead but is easily spooked by things he dosnt know but he is much much better now he is used to things. He will need a rock solid recall before being let off lead, or access to an extremely secure area where he can burn off some of his energy Norris needs an experienced dog owner at home in the day as he is a clever boy and will enjoy the stimulation of training of some sort and he will be happy with a confident playful resident dog to give him added comfort and for him to play with and learn from. He can live with older children and maybe a cat, and a big garden would be great to run in.
Foster Report 2: Norris is a confident happy boy and has fitted into our home quickly. He has two small dogs for friends and he gets on with them very well. My young daughter finds him responsive to her and gentle. I agree with foster 1, Norris needs a owner at home with other friendly playful dogs with older children and a good sized garden and able to walk him on the lead. Vaccinated, wormed, flea treated, neutered, microchipped and has a Pet Passport.
Adoption Fee is £ 175 to be paid direct to the Spanish rescue to cover travel costs.
