Olaf – 9 month old male Cross-Breed

Olaf, the Prince of Brighton is a 9 month old male Cross-Breed. This dear fellow was chained up in the garden as a little puppy. He was born outside, and had lived outside in the snow, with temperatures as low as -35. Thankfully a wonderful lady spotted him, and convinced the owners to give him up. It didn’t take much convincing, and he was released. Dear Olaf has a kind nature, and was not growing up to be the dog that the family wanted. He was just to kind and only wanted to be loved. Now, he lives in the United Kingdom amongst 7 other dogs and 4 cats. Olaf adores every dog that he meets, or tries to meet, and is in constant happy mode. Unfortunately because he is already the size of a large fully grown dog. When fully grown he will be considered as a Giant Breed (Great Dane / St. Bernard). If you are looking for a small to medium size dog, this is not him.

Olaf is a large goofy puppy, that has the same characteristics as Scooby Doo! He requires allot of grooming to keep his coat looking tidy. Approximately 2 walks per day, and he is generally fed twice a day. Being a puppy he likes to play with his toys, and enjoys chewing a bone! Good on the lead, clean in the house, thrives on attention, loves to eat food and whatever snacks that he can. Olaf can be bouncy indoors, if he is trying to engage in play with us or the resident dogs.Clumsy at times, he’d easily knock over a small child or water bowl.

This fellow will require further training and handling to ensure that he continues to progress well in life. He is learning every day about the world, as being confined to a chain for 7 months, has taken away his early social skills of Wheelie Bins, Roads Signs and strange objects. Only the best suited home for this boy will be selected, as it has to be right for him, and yourselves. Large breed experience is essential. If you have another resident dog, that could be an added bonus.
