Olive is a 3 year old Cross-Breed, about the size of a big Labrador but with a slender build. Olive was rescued from the Radauti public shelter in Romania where she has been for two very long years. Despite this harsh existence Olive has emerged from the gates of hell seemingly unmarked by it. Shortly after her arrival in her UK foster home she was in fact photographed sitting squarely on the lap of her fosterer with her tail a blur because it was wagging so furiously! Olive is fostered in Fordingbridge (FR017).
In fact her fosterer says she is the most delightful and friendliest foster dog she has had. She has loved all people she has met and shows no fear in any way, only trust and the desire for affection. She has shown no reaction at all to the other dogs in her foster home and I think in no time she’ll be wanting to play. She has been clean in the house since arrival and has loved her walks. She will make a wonderful family dog although not with small children as she has not learnt to jump up at people yet. In all a really lovely, sweet natured dog.
