Olivia is a 7-8 year old female Labrador Cross but mostly Labrador. Olivia is fostered in Fordingbridge (FR017). She has spent her life having puppies after puppies after puppies and sadly has the saggy undercarriage to show for it. She was rescued from the streets of a Romanian city last year with one young puppy and was even pregnant then!
Really sadly for this lovely girl she also had some sort of head trauma that necessitated some big surgery to help her eat again. This has left her with a slightly lop sided face and a bit of a wonky jaw with not a lot of teeth. She is, I think, all the more beautiful for it. She still struggles to eat biscuits and would benefit from soft food for the rest of her life.
Surprisingly, given her life on the streets, she has the most amazing loving personality and is absolutely loving being in a house with a human to make a fuss of and give huge amounts of licks to! She happily curls up next to me in the evening snoring her head off. She can live with another dog, and can be quite playful, but she is a little nervous of new dogs and would need careful introduction. Also, because she is a little excitable at all the attention she is getting I would suggest no children under 10. She is learning to walk well on a lead and has been clean in the house since arrival. I would ideally like a forever home with someone at home a lot so she can get all the attention she so deserves.
