Meet the miraculous boy Ollie who is approximately 10 years old. He is a Romanian German Shepherd Cross who is very lucky to be alive! You see Ollie once had an adopted family but the resident two Rottweilers continually picked on him so his owners decided they didn’t want Ollie any more and he was taken back into the care of a Romanian shelter.
After this happened Ollie decided to give up on life and the idea of being adopted and went into a deep depression that almost took his life as he just laid in his bed not eating, not wanting to socialise – in fact Ollie was giving up the will to live!
The SWGSDR heard about his plight and we all felt we could not stand by and let him give up on life so we decided to bring him to the UK so that we could rehabilitate him and show him how lovely life could truly be and thus far Ollie has responded very well to the changes in his life. Ollie has proved to be a very loving boy and is great with other dogs, he adores people and loves to go for walks.
He has is good on and off lead and has good recall. Considering Ollie was near death only a few weeks ago due to emaciation he enjoys his food and will take food from you very gently. Ollie is neutered. He is fully house-trained, vaccinated and is also microchiped.
