Orion – 2 month old male Kokoni cross Poodle

Orion is a 2 month old Kokoni cross Poodle. Orion and his brothers are puppies who were abandoned in a church toilet of all places. Well it had the right effect and they have been well and truly blessed! They have been rescued by D.O.G Rescue Cyprus and are in a fantastic foster home in Cyprus whilst we find them their forever home. Orion is hoping that he will be able to fly to the UK and straight to his forever home when he reaches 15 weeks old. Orion is another little star with a round tummy, fluffy, playful, loving and just simply delicious.

Whilst we don’t know exactly what breeds he comprises of, we think he is part Kokoni Terrier and possibly part poodle too. The Kokoni is a Greek dog and “Kokoni” means “small dog” in Greek.
Kokoni love human interaction and are fearless despite their small size. The breed is alert, lively, cheerful, smart and loyal. They are great companion dogs. Kokoni love to run and play, but with the proper amount of exercise can adjust to a small household and pretty much to your lifestyle.

Orion will be able to fly to the UK once he reaches 15 weeks of age. He is a super, cute, friendly puppy. Just like any puppy he is inquisitive and boisterous. He will require support, guidance and training to help him develop into the adult dog you want them to be. The kennels are never safe for young puppies and we want him to have the opportunity of finding a safe, loving home of his own so that he does not have to grow up in the kennels. Unfortunately he can only stay in his foster home for a limited time.

We hope to find a family who will open their heart and home to him and allow him to grow into the wonderful family pet he has the potential to be. He would do well with another dog in the household to help him learn the ropes or as an only dog providing you can devote time to support him. We would always recommend any puppy should be fully supervised if with children. He has been vaccinated. Prior to his flight to the UK he will receive the vet preparation required, be microchipped and have his entry passport prepared.

The adoption donation required to help cover the flight and related costs to get him to you in the UK will be a donation in the region of £400 to £425 depending on where you are in the country and the exchange rates.

Please contact us if you are interested in any this gorgeous boy and we will be very happy to chat to you about our adoption process. It is much easier than you might think! As a Kokoni cross owner myself I cannot recommend the breed more highly. They have big personalities and make simply amazing family pets.
