Oscar is absolutely gorgeous in looks and temperament and is a Labrador cross Border Collie. He is only 6-7 months old, but he is very gentle and well behaved for his age. He has been well looked after and loved in his previous home and is extremely distressed to find himself in kennels due to a tragic change in circumstances. He is soft, loving and calm and will make a wonderful family dog again.
Oscar will need an active, fun-loving home please where he can be out and about with you. The Labrador side of him seems more prevalent though and he does not whizz about like some Collies are prone to do, but is much calmer. He is a beautiful, beautiful boy and my heart breaks for him, he should never have known such sadness and stress as he is feeling right now, he is distraught and there is no other word for it.
Oscar will need human company for the vast majority of the day please, every day. He will want, and need, a couple of good walks a day please in the countryside, or at the beach, and will enjoy playing in the garden with you, which will need to be securely enclosed for a dog please. He can live with another dog, cats and children aged 6+.
Oscar has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He can be rehomed outside of the county, within reason, subject to a successful homecheck. He knows basic commands and was housetrained in his previous home of course. As Oscar is a young, energetic dog we can only rehome him to active people in their very early 60’s or below.
If you are looking for a young dog, who will fit into your active home, who will love you to the moon and back and will be loving, bright, alert and intelligent, then Oscar is your boy!
