Oscar was rehomed by us as Ozzie exactly 2 years ago. He has come back to us through no fault of his own but due to sad family circumstances. Heartbroken for them all. Here is his foster write up. He does guard as Michelle will explain but he just takes the item away and hides it 🙂 Just leave him be and he is fine. Oscar is a loving boy, loves to be catched up with you. But don’t let his age put you off.he loves his walks and especially loves to swim. He sleeps in his basket but does like to know you are close. Oscar will do best in a quiet home as a only dog or maybe one other placid dog.
Oscar is more drawn to men than women so time is needed to get to know him. He has some guarding tendencies, he steals items and will hide them in his basket or under the bed. You cannot take the stolen item from him, he will growl and protect it. Anything from a toy, socks, boots, bones etc.
If he thinks its treasure then he will guard it. I just ignore this behaviour and he soon comes round wanting a fuss. I am happy to chat with potential adopters about this. Oscar just needs a nice retirement home.
Oscar is neutered, chipped, vaccinated, wormed and flead and adoption subject to meet and greet, homecheck and adoption donation. Applications via forms section of website please.
