Oscar – 12 week old male Siberian Husky

Hello, my name is Oscar, I’m a twelve week old male Siberian Husky puppy. I arrived at The Mayhew because my owner decided she no longer wanted me. I am a typical lively and playful puppy who needs a lot of attention and I just want everyone to love me. I’m affectionate and I love to learn, I’m also very inquisitive and into everything. I am good with other dogs, cats and children.

I am looking for a new home with someone who will make sure I get two gentle, thirty minute, off lead socialisation outings per day whilst I’m still young, building up to a minimum of one to two hours of off lead exercise daily once I’m fully grown. My new guardians will be at home for most of the day and will enrol me in training classes. Due to be my young age and training needs any children in my new home will need to be at least ten years of age and upwards. Also due to my age and training needs my new guardians will need to have owned large spitz breed types before. I can live with another dog providing they have been well trained, are calm and will be a good role model for me. My new guardians will be taking on a fifteen-year commitment, which must not be taken lightly.
