Oscar – 7 year old male Jack Russell Terrier

Oscar is a older dog (7+ years) but a really happy little gentleman. He’s a wire haired Jack Russell cross who is a little on the tubby side who has come into our care as his 88 year old owner has had to go into a care home. Oscar a lovely little lad. He always has a very waggy tail and is happy to see you. A wonderful little boy who we hope isn’t overlooked as he’s an older boy.

Oscar has been vetted and he is very fit and healthy. He is a good companion and needs to be with someone who is able to spend time with him. He can be left but can sometimes bark if left for long intervals. He sometimes is a little bit grumpy with other dogs but is fine when off lead. He gets on fine with all my dogs. Don’t think I would trust with cats.

He has a very healthy appetite so needs to go to someone who understands this as I have spend a few weeks getting to correct weight. All in all he is a very happy little dog and would make someone a happy companion.”
