Oscar – 3 1/2 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Oscar is a 3 1/2 yrar old cross-breed boy who was originally transferred from Warrington RSPCA because he was being overlooked and had been in kennels for several months, we took him into a foster home from which he was rehomed back in Oct 2009. Unfortunately he is back with us because the owners couldn’t give him what he needed therefore resulting separation anxiety and the 2 dogs weren’t getting on any more-more information will be provided.

Oscar is neutered, micro-chipped and fully vaccinated with no health problems. Oscar is a typical young energetic dog, he’s full of beans! He adores tummy rubs and attention. He travels very well and he’s not toy or food possessive. He had lived with dogs before he came to the RSPCA and lived with a dog in his previous home but ideally he needs to be the only dog as it is hit and miss. He is not good with cats.

He’s a clever dog who learns fast and is very obedient, oh and he can open doors! He’d make an ideal family pet as he is great with children but perhaps too excitable to be around toddlers. We would like to rehome him with someone who is around a lot of the time and can give him lots of walks and attention, he just loves being out and about and loves to play games with you in the garden.

You must have experience with rescued dogs and have a secure garden as he’s been known to scale a 5ft fence! You must have time, patience and most importantly be kind and understanding.

One of his favourite past times is watching TV! When he was with us previously he’d sing a long to Coronation Street! Oscar is a super friendly dog with a great personality and is incredibly loving and affectionate, please give him a chance, he really does deserve it.
