Beautiful Ozzie was adopted from us 5 years ago. He has sadly been returned and is looking for a new home. Ozzie has Collie in him and as every Collie lover knows, Collie’s can display anxious or even neurotic behaviour! Poor Ozzie was quite anxious in his home as he lived on a busy road, with lots of pedestrians passing. One day recently, this build up of anxiety led to Ozzie becoming stressed, he stole a chocolate wrapper and in the owners panic to take it off him, Ozzie bit is hand. His owners were very upset to part with him, but believe that he needs to go to a quieter road, without much passing people traffic as he will be calmer and happier.
We have found Ozzie to be the perfect gentleman. He is such a sweet natured boy. Ozzie (like many collies!) is very focused on his toys. He loves to play. Although we like to see him enjoying himself, we would advise a new home not to encourage ball throwing as it would be nice to see Ozzie a little less toy obsessed! Ozzie is very affectionate. He loves attention and he loves walks! He needs a quieter, calm home with no children or children planned for the future. He will need an active owner.
Ozzie is good with some dogs but will bark at others, particularly Terrier types! He is best as the only pet. He can be left for a few hours during the day. He is an adorable boy that will make a wonderful friend.
