Patsy – 5 year old female Pug cross Chihuahua

Patsy is a 5 year old female Pug cross Chihuahua. Patsy came to us as she was no longer wanted. She has spent quite a long time in kennels and is now loving being in a foster home where she is warm and safe. She is a great little girl who is good with other dogs and takes no notice of the cats. She would like new owners who are around for a good part of the day. She is still a young and energetic dog so a similar sized playful companion would be great.

She has coped really well going into a home and for the most part has been clean as a whistle, makes a lovely change for her foster! Unfortunately as we have limited history for Patsy older teenagers only. She enjoys her walks and is good on the lead.

Patsy is a very easy girl and will make a great companion. She has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and is up to date with flea and worming treatment. Patsy is currently on foster Nr Hastings, East Sussex. Home checks and set donation apply.

*Update January 2018*

Patsy is a vibrant robust intelligent and entertaining 3-4 year old Chug (Pug/Chihuahua cross). She is a delightful girl who just loves the company of people. This gentle girl has certainly not had the best of lives thus far but she is a glass half full kind of dog whose gentle warm and loving nature makes her a wonderful companion. Her personality is that of a pug – nosey, sassy and fun loving. The good news is that she has the tough Chihuahua back end so she really loves her walks the more and longer the better. She has no behavioural problems and is easy to train and is fully housetrained. She may of course have the odd slip up when she goes to her forever home.

She loves her food, sleeps well at night uncrated (although she will go in a crate if you ask her) and travels well in the car (albeit she is convinced she should be on the front seats!). She is great on the lead and because she loves people so much has naturally good recall. Patsy makes friends with other dogs easily and could happily be with other dogs in a house or could equally be the only dog provided her humans were around most of the time as she delights in company. She is being fostered near Hastings in East Sussex and is spayed vaccinated, wormed flea treated and microchipped.
