Paws – 6 year old male Labrador Retriever
Paws is a 6 year old Labrador Retriever and is currently on foster in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. He is on foster with other dogs and is absolutely fine with them although he has been used to being an only dog and as such he can be grumbly over food and toys with his foster siblings so a home with dogs that will let him have his own space is a definite.
He has met the neighbours cats and isnt really interested in them, although he has not met cats in the home so only local homes with cats will be considered so we can make introductions before rehoming. Paws is house trained and walks well on the lead, although his basic training could do with some work as in typical Labrador fashion he can be a bit dopey.
Paws can be left for a few hours without problem. He travels well in the car and is eager to be out and about. He is a gentle giant around children and is absolutely brilliant with them. We feel that Paws would make the perfect first dog for a family, he loves his walks and loves to play with balls so a good supply is needed. He would also love to be in a home near water as he loves to swim.
All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to rehoming. A homecheck will be required, and you will need to come and meet the dog with your own dogs and family.
