Pearl – 18-24 month old female Greyhound

feature photo

Pearl is a very timid young Greyhound – she’s only 18-24 months old and was going to be put to sleep as she wasn’t any good for racing.

She is very sweet although we need to find her a home where she can come out of her shell in her own time. Pearl has never lived in a house and doesn’t know what it’s like to be loved and cuddled, she is very obedient and walked very well on the lead.

She’ll need an owner prepared to give her help learning to cope with day to day household noises. Greyhounds are often misunderstood, they only need two 20 minute walks a day (although will happily walk for longer) and happily sleep for the rest of the day quite contentedly.

They are also very eager to please you so tend to be very easy to train. Can you give this girl a second chance at life and really learn the meaning of rescuing a dog?
