Peggy – 7 year old female Rottweiler

Peggy is a 7 year old female Rottweiler. “Hello, Steady Peggy here, I’m looking for a comfy bed and a kind hand, they say I’m famous as I made the headlines when I was abandoned and tied to railings in a park on the hottest day of the year. I’m 7 years old, and I’m in a foster home with three other dogs, I love them, (and my foster mum too)! Foster mum says I don’t like raised arms or raised voices, must be something from my past.

Anyway, I’m losing weight now, I was rather a rotund lady, the vets say I have an underactive thyroid, so I have tablets for that, and I have a bit of arthritis is my leg and I have some cod liver oil for that. I like a bit of a trot with my foster furries, but most of all I love my bed.

I’d love a forever human and canine companion to play with, I’m okay with children but they say because of my size I can live with children over 8 years old. I haven’t lived with cats so none of those please. So, form an orderly queue folks, I’m waiting.”
