Peggy is a 6 year old female West Highland White Terrier. Peggy has come to us as she is no longer required for breeding, she is the sweetest little girl who adores people and may well be confident enough to be re homed as an only dog in the right home. Unfortunately Peggy has ruptured her crutiate ligament and will require surgery. This surgery is expensive and we would welcome any donations towards the cost of her operation and re habilitation. Once her surgery has been completed and she has recovered we are hoping to have her forever home ready and waiting for her.
Peggy knows nothing of living in a home but is adjusting well with her foster, it is hoped that she will be clean in the house by the time we are ready to re home her. In order to help her socialise and get used to the outside world, Peggy is being taken on her walks in a doggy pram. This ensures she still gets to experience her walks without hurting her leg further. She would be fine to be re homed with older teenagers provided they understand she may be a little nervous initially. Peggy does walk well on a lead and travels without issue in the car. She really is a friendly little soul who will make a wonderful companion after her surgery.
We know that her surgery is expensive and some may feel that she is not a worthy case, we feel every dog is worthy and will always do all we can to help. Your continued support allows us to do this and we are very grateful.
