Peggy – 7-8 year old female Cross-Breed

Peggy is a small 7-8 year old female Cross-Breed. Peggy is fostered in Norwich (FR002). Peggy somehow survived the horrors of a public shelter in Romania. How such small and shy dogs ever make it out alive is always a mystery to me but she’s now safely in a UK foster home.

Peggy is a quiet little girl who takes time to trust new people. She’s very flinchy when strangers touch her and is clearly more familiar with cruelty than she is kindness.

Peggy needs a quiet environment without any young children or boisterous dogs. She can live happily with calm dogs but would be equally as happy as an only pet. Despite her fears Peggy cannot resist the lure of nice food and will gain trust in anyone who feeds her regularly. She resisted lead training initially but now enjoys her walks and is gaining confidence when out and about.
