Penny – 3 year old female Terrier Cross

Penny is a 3 year old female Terrier Cross. Penny is a pretty small terrier mix young lady with a black and tan rough coat. Penny stands at 38 cm and weighs 10kg. She has recently been saved from living rough. She was heavily pregnant at the time and has since given birth to seven puppies. Penny is a very sad case as she has had four litters in the last two years as the rescue couldn’t catch her to help her.

Now she is safe and being cared for, she is getting used to human kindness instead of being scared. Penny hasnt learnt to love or trust yet. She has never had a sofa to curl up on, or had the enjoyment of cuddles or tummy rubs. We hope all of that is going to change very soon! Penny is happy living with other dogs and cats, but we don’t know about children.

Penny has been living in the campo together with two of her sons from previous litters and a big white male, close to a farm. She’s was very timid and there was no trust of humans. She has been seen for the past two years living rough, but was never able to be caugh and get her spayed. This is her fourth litter in two years. One of her other puppies was rescued a year ago. Its only because she was pregnant with her puppies that the rescue could catch her. So it was a once in a lifetime opportunity!

Fosterer’s report: She’s not used to human contact, but now she will let me touch her but not sure what to think of it. But she is making steady progress in such a short time. Puppies all well. 6 females 1 male. Current location is in a foster home in Spain can travel to the UK once she has a home to go to. He is vaccinated, wormed, flea treated, will be neutered before being rehomed, microchipped and has a Pet Passport. Any known health issues BEING TESTED AT THE MOMENT.

Adoption Fee: £ 185– to be paid direct to the Spanish rescue to cover travel costs via UK bank account
