Penny loves other small dogs, but not very keen on big dogs. She will play nicely and share her toys and treats with them. Penny hasn’t been tested with cats. Penny has settled well into home life, she runs up and down the stairs with her toys or ball and is pleased and excited to see you when you come home. She doesn’t bark at all, and is very nosey, always up at the window (preferably in the bedroom, she can see more) seeing what’s going on or trying to see through the fence to next door. She can be left for a short period during the day and she’s house trained.

Penny walks well now on a harness but is still a bit nervous of traffic. This is getting better with short walks and she’s starting to enjoy them-so much that she goes and fetches her lead and brings it to her foster mum when she wants to go out! She travels well in the car and enjoys watching the world go by.

Penny is a little doll. She’s grown into such a character that she’s a joy to have around. She can live with another small dog or on her own. She needs an owner who is at home most of the time and will carry on working with her and giving her confidence with plenty of love and fun thrown in. She will repay you by being the most loyal little dog you could wish for.

Penny is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in RCT, South Wales.

If you are interested in adopting Penny please read about our rehoming process and complete a Pre-Adoption form ( link here ) and one of our adoption coordinators will contact you for a chat.
