Percy – 13-14 year old male Whippet

Beautiful Percy is a teeny Whippet boy who recently came into our care from a stray pound environment. He is estimated to be around 13-14 years of age. On arriving in our care Percy was in a terrible state, his teeth were foul and in serious need of dental work, he was emaciated and his legs were weak and stooping. Since under going dental work and getting a warm bed, TLC and regular excercise he is much better and the vets feel not ready to leave us at anytime soon hence he is being placed up for homing bless him.

We are so proud of the way this boy has fought his way back to health. He is of course still an old dog though. Percy is currently in foster care with a Greyhound female and a Greyhound male and gets on with them well. He has been fine with all dogs he meets and seems impartial to cats, this can be tested further though. Percy likes people and is good with children but due to his old age we feel a home with dog savvy children 8 plus would be best.

Percy is house-trained and is fine to be left, his needs are as with an older dog little. His perfect environment would be in a home with other dogs for company and someone around to lavish him for his remaining years. Percy is vaccinated, deflead, dewormed, micro-chipped and neutered.
