Peta is just 9 weeks old. The result of an accidental mating. Peta’s dad was considerably larger than her mum, she seems to be taking after mum in size, but her energy and character are huge, so i’m guessing that’s dad! She has been very well handled and is a typical bouncy, mischievous cuddle monster of a puppy. Peta is coming on very well with her house training. She loves other dogs of all sizes and although sometimes over enthusiastic in her greetings and play, ( as a puppy would normally be at this age), she listens and obeys when they reprimand her. She has met cats and is friendly and curious towards them.
Peta is good in the car, she travels extremely well. She loves to chew, everything needs tasting and testing – again normal puppy behavior. She is probably going to be small to medium size looking at her legs, but her feet are big, so we cant give any guarantees. One of the photos shows her with her buddy Copper, a 1 year old toy Poodle who weighs on at 2.5kg, to give you an idea of her size now. Peta is a similar weight but noticeably smaller in stature.
Peta is an absolutely amazing girl, always the clown, a typical puppy she is full of fun and always ready for a walk or a game. But come bedtime wrap her in a blanket ( preferably in with you) and she is out for the count. She is super cuddly when sated with play and happy to be your hot water bottle. She is a great traveler and loves going out in the car/ van and has been miles with me. Peta loves her food, shows no aggression over her own or contraband food towards either humans or other dogs- she just scoffs faster. Peta is just starting to learn about walking on a lead. Her recall is amazing already and ahe walks nicely off lead, sticking close when asked. (Obviously this is all in safe private areas, she is too young to go out where the public walk dogs yet). I can’t stress what a fabulous pup Peta is. is and what a wonderful companion she will make for an active family, with a large secure garden and oodles of love and adventure to share.
We are looking for an amazing and perfect home. Please note Peta is at the Sanctuary near Kidwelly in South Wales. Potential adoptors will be expected to travel to meet her once our interrogation procedures are completed.
