Phoebe – 12 year old female Labrador

Phoebe is a 12 year old female Labrador. This is Phoebe’s second stint at the rescue – through no fault of her own! Phoebe originally came to us in 2011 due to her owner’s long work hours. She quickly found a new home but is sadly back with us 6 years later due to a relationship split. Despite all of this Phoebe has taken everything in her stride, she is a typical bouncy, friendly Labrador who greets everyone with a waggy tail.

Poor Phoebe is very overweight at the moment and therefore is on a doggy diet! She will need a dedicated owner who will continue this and help her to achieve and maintain a healthy weight.
Although Labradors are prone to excess weight gain, it can cause a huge strain on their health and can lead to all sorts of problems so it is important to not overfeed them. Apart from this Phoebe seems to be in good health and will just need joint supplements due to her age and weight.

Phoebe is a well behaved girl who is good with dogs and shows no interest in cats. She will make a wonderful addition to any home.
