Piglet – 3 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Piglet is a 3 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Little Piglet has a tale to tell! She was taken from her owner by the RSPCA due to the terrible condition her skin was in. She was completely bald with sores all over her, she was a mess. Piglets life was on the line and she was under threat of being put to sleep. Piglet suddenly found herself with a stroke of luck! A kind vet came along and offered to treat her and foster her until a new home could be found! This beautiful little girl was safe and could finally begin the road to recovery and begin her new life!

Piglet was diagnosed with demodex, a non-contagious mite. She immediately began treatment and in just a few short weeks Piglet has already shown tremendous improvement and her hair is already growing back. It is anticipated that she will be on medication for the next few weeks until fully recovered. The vet that is fostering her can’t speak highly enough of just how lovely Piglet is, she is a dream! She is quite a lazy girl around the house, she loves to be wrapped up in a blanket (like most staffy’s she loves to be warm and toasty!), fall asleep and have a snore! She enjoys her home comforts and can usually be found as comfortable as possible on the couch! She enjoys her walks, she walks well on a lead. She can be lively when she is excited.

As we don’t have any history on Piglet we are looking for a home with older teens upwards. She should be the only pet. She has been great with dogs on walks and usually tends to ignore them, but if a dog is extremely bouncy she can tell them off. She can be left for a few hours.

This adorable, affectionate lady is ready to find her forever home. She has come a long way and despite the cruelty and neglect she has suffered she still adores humans and has so much love to offer her future family.
