Pilot - 2 year old male Lurcher

Pilot is a Lurcher male aged approximately 2 years old. He’s a solid, chunky lad, not very tall (24ins) with a rough-ish black coat and beautiful soft brown eyes. He is not cat friendly and may have been involved in an incident involving sheep and so cannot be rehomed where he can come into contact with livestock.

He’s obviously been worked VERY hard and has the scars to prove it. He would need careful testing with small dogs too. He would however be well rehomed with Wisp (also featured on DogsBlog.com) as he really does rely on her for his confidence. He was extremely traumatised by what had happened to him (I won’t go into it all on here) and has nasty injuries to boot, he took a while to come out of his shell and trust me, but now he has, he’s such a loyal dog.

We need to be very picky about a new home for him because in the wrong hands, in the wrong environment, he could suffer. He’s not stupid though and is quick to learn new behaviour but is VERY strong if he wants to be.
