Pip – 7 year old female Labrador Cross

Pip is about 7 years old and is a lovely active Labrador Cross who will be a wonderful companion for long walks and games in the garden. She would love to find a new home where she will have the company of another dog.

She is about about medium sized but a bit smaller than normal Labradors.

Pip has settled really well in her foster home and enjoys playing with the foster family’s dog, a game of fetch being their favourite! Pip loves children and enjoys going for walks in the company of her foster family’s resident whippet.

A home with children over about 9 would probably be best as Pip could be a little boisterous with very young ones. Pip is sociable with other dogs and has not really taken much notice of cats when out walking. Pip is also good in the car, and is good off the lead with good recall. Pip is so excited to be out that she does pull on the lead but her foster carers are working on this. Pip is happy to be left for up to 4 hours with no problem at all, though as she is used to having dog company, we feel that she may not be happy to be left entirely on her own.

This is what their foster carer has to say about Pip:-

“She’s a really sweet dog and I wish we were in a position to give her a permanent home. If we were, I would not hesitate to adopt her permanently. When she’s adopted we will miss her so much as she’s such a great little character.” Praise indeed – that sums up Pip perfectly.

Since coming into Oldies Club care, Pip has been vet checked and is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and flea treated.
