Pip is a 5 year old female English Cocker Spaniel. Pip has come to us to find her forever home as she is no longer required for breeding. She is, as you would expect nervous of all the new sights and sounds within the home, Pip will overcome this and with a little time and patience will make a wonderful pet. She would like new owners who are around for a good part of the day, Pip would be best re homed with at least one similar sized resident dog to help show her the way and give her confidence, it may be possible for her to be an only dog in the right home.
She travels well in the car and is clean and calm. Pip does walk well on her lead but can startle at new or sudden sounds and unfamiliar sights. She will need to be walked with a harness to ensure that if she does get startled she cannot slip her collar. She will adapt this will just be gentle exposure to all things new to her.
Pip is fine to be re homed with older teenagers who understand she may be nervous initially, she is fine with cats and took no notice at all, she is of course great with other dogs. She is currently on foster in Bagshot Surrey. Pip has been neutered, had her first vaccination, micro chipped and is up to date with flea and worming treatment. She has also had a full dental with a scale and polish.
