Pip – 11 month old female Ibizan Hound (Podenco)

Pip is a 11 month old female Ibizan Hound (Podenco). Pip is a very handsome and unusual tri coloured Podenco puppy boy, of medium size, standing at 53cm height 53cm long and 14kgs. Luckily for Pip the Spanish rescue saved him from a life of imprisonment. He is now safe in the refuge, for the first time in his short life, feeling part of a pack and and getting on well with the other dogs, and loving the attention from the volunteers. He will make someone a wonderful family pet, and has already been tested with one of the volunteers children and he is child friendly.

He can be tested with cats too. Pip is a really friendly chap, he is loving and affectionate and likes nothing more than a cuddle and fuss He would love to find a family to love. Another beautiful dog inside and out and rescued from a life of being tied up and shut in a shed most of the time. A life that so many Podencos have in Spain. Some only see the light of day during the hunting season. The rescue are cat testing Pip and he is learning to walk nicely on a lead.

Current location is in Spain can travel to the UK once he has a home to go to. Vaccinated, wormed, flea treated, Neutered, Microchipped, Pet Passport, FREE 4 weeks Pet Insurance- owner to activate via the link on our website, Any known health issues NONE KNOWN.

For Dogs coming from Spain and Portugal: This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog- microchip, passport, vaccines, tests for S European diseases, neutering (if old enough), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.

We can not home dogs from Spain or Portugal to people who work, even part time. They need someone at home all day, they are not used to being alone, so even a couple of hours broken with a dog walker will be too much for them to cope with. They are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
