Pixie is a 10 month old female Collie Cross. This lovely girl I am very sad to be doing this write up as I thought she was settled and loved but unfortunately due to ill health she has found herself looking for a home again.
I first met Pixie last winter in Spain she was a tiny baby in a Spanish Pound we saved her along with 5 other dogs it was very heartbreaking night as there was so many that had been dumped that week but you can only help so many and she was on of them, tiny and frail with her brother she was nursed back to health and rehomed in Spain.
This week I met up with her with her owners to find out more about her to get her a new home and we have agreed to take her.
I am biased having had collies all my life and just loved her, not only is she pretty she is such a lovely girl, she was fine with everyone she met and all the different dogs that were out and about that day. She is good off the lead, travels in the car fine and is house trained.
Pixie is going to suit an active home, she loves other dogs so although living as an only dog we would like her to go to people who regularly walk with other dogs, someone who can take her dog training and round off her training and most important someone who will love her for the rest of his life.
This girl is lucky to be alive, she is a fabulous dog and I am so sad for her past – we want her future to be the centre of someone’s world now for the rest of her life.
Pixie is spayed, fully vaccinated, chipped and has her own pet passport plea.
