Polly is a 9-10 year old little Lurcher girl, currently in a foster home in Stoke on Trent. Polly had been in kennels for quite a while before moving into a foster home. She wasn’t happy with the other dogs when in a kennel environment and so it was with some trepidation that her foster mum took her home! And Polly proved her wrong, here is what she has to say about Polly: “She is one of the most lovable little dogs you can wish to meet and Zac doesn’t get a look in now in the evenings – it’s Polly on the sofa. In the house she has been almost perfect, spotlessly clean and does all you ask of her. She is still reactive to visitors but if you put her in another room, once they are inside she likes to sit on their knee. She seems to be worse with men, she doesn’t bark at my daughter and has been absolutely wonderful with my granddaughter. She is very keen out and about, greets quiet dogs quite happily but gets excited when they are running about and has made it her mission to rid the world of all things small and furry. Polly would love to have the nice quiet home (with plenty of cushions!) which she now deserves after being in kennels for so long”.
Polly’s idea of a perfect home is somewhere without other animals and children with a quite couple who lead a nice life and take lots of walks. She would also benefit from training classes to help with her socialisation and confidence. This little girl is so desperate to bond with someone and be loved but just doesn’t like the hustle and bustle of a busy noisy lifestyle and would prefer when any new home did have visitors to have her own space away from them to avoid having to worry.
Polly is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, microchipped and spayed. Polly is currently in a foster home in Stoke on Trent.
