Poppet - 10 week old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross

Poppet is a 10 week old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross, he was the last of the litter, the family couldn’t cope and was going to put Poppet to sleep until the branch stepped in. Today Poppet had his 1st vaccination, flea and worming treatment, he’s been micro-chipped and health checked, we will ensure he’s neutered when old enough.

He is a little skinny but it’s of no concern, he weighs a small 5 1/2 kilos! He is a gentle and affectionate pup, typically bouncy when he wasn’t sleepy and needing a lap to snuggle up on. He’s very friendly and confident, a typical cutie of a pup! He went to his foster home today with 2 young girls so he’ll get plenty of attention and play, we doubt he’s house-trained so hopefully we can get started on that.

We are looking for a home where he will get all the love and care he needs, a nice garden to play in, plenty of socialisation with dogs and people, perhaps a doggy friend to share his new home with, because he’s a puppy he can be rehomed with all animals. Existing animals like cats and dogs need to be fully vaccinated. Poppet has been given a chance in life so we only want the best for him!

Please think carefully before adopting a puppy as they are demanding of time, attention and energy, they also teeth until about 9 months old so need to be provided with chews and toys to prevent chewing anything lying around! They need kind but consistent toilet training, regular walks and socialisation, dogs are for life. Poppet could live into his late teens. If you feel you have the time and patience for a puppy then please get in touch.
