Poppy P is a lovely girl, very gentle and soft. She loves to be stroked on her face and head and closes her eyes while you do it.

Poppy P is not faring well in the kennels and cries when you leave. She is happy when she is in human company. Her tail wags when she sees you. Poppy P is depressed and really needs to be in a home environment. She is loyal and walks by your side without a lead. She is also good on a lead. This girl is a real sweetheart. We have no idea of Poppy P’s history. Poor girl fell at the feet of some Spanish rescuers while they were in a local village. She was skin and bone. She had obviously been dumped in the countryside. They bundled her into the car and brought her to a local ladies kennels. She was taken to the vets the next day for a check up. She was covered in ticks and fleas.

Fosterer’s report: I have Poppy P in my kennel here as I haven’t got room for her in the house with the rest of the foster dogs. She is an adorable girl. She was dumped in the local countryside and found us in the local village. She is desperate for a home environment and we are all sad to leave her in the kennels at the end of each day. She does not get the opportunity to mix with other dogs here but we suspect as she has a such a sweet nature that she would like other dogs. If required we could easily test her.
