Puddy is a lovely little girl who is rather rotund. She is a charming dog who is full of energy despite her size and loves her walks. She does pull on the lead so will need strong owners able to work with her on this. Puddy is fine with other dogs and has taken no notice of the cats.
She is clean in the house but does suffer from separation anxiety so will need new owners who are around for most of the time and who will have the patience to help her overcome this. At night she is currently sleeping in foster’s bedroom in a crate which is gradually being moved further away. She is settling well and as long as new owners persevere she will continue to improve. Please do consider this when applying for her as initially she may well need to sleep upstairs with you.
Puddy loves everyone and is great with older sensible children provided they let her sit on their laps and give her lots of cuddles. Puddy has had a very unsettled time and we are sure this is why she has developed separation anxiety. Time and patience will help this girl feel secure once again.
Due to her size Puddy will need to continue watching her weight and will need to remain on a low calorie diet. This is vitally important and we will be checking to ensure her weight continues to reduce new owners will have to be strict and monitor her diet closely.
Puddy will be vaccinated, micro chipped and has been neutered. She is currently on foster in Aldershot Hampshire.
