Pugsley Adams – 15 month old male Cross-Breed

Pugsley Adams is a 15 month old male Cross-Breed. He is a large sized puppy, approximately 30″ at the withers. A dear soul who has found himself back in rescue through no fault of his own. Originally he came from Romania July 2016 at approximately 5 months old. He was successfully homed to a lovely couple who took care of him since then, but due to an illness, they can no longer manage and care for him, whilst attending to their medical appointments. Pugsley is a kind natured character, often misunderstood by other dogs as he has a large presence and stature, but is just an oversized teenaged puppy in a fluffy coat. Neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated, microchipped and looking for a large breed experienced home. He can be strong on the lead, likes to go his own way when his ears are tired of hearing and understands basic commands well, when you have a suitable and valuable edible exchange.

Pugsley needs someone who can mentally and physically manage him, as he continues to grow into an adult. Puppies can be a challenge, and he’s certainly a big lad that will require further training, socialisation and guidance, so that he can be the best of himself. Stunning to look at I agree, but adopting a dog is a life-long commitment, and one that should not be taken lightly.

Whatever the challenge, with any rescue dog it is always best to think ahead of time and be very certain that you will conquer whatever comes, or seek professional help / advice until you can resolve any training issue. If you can do that, and see that then there is a chance that adoption may be for you. Again, this is a large sized dog, and although he enjoys the affection and trying to sit on your lap he will require rules and guidance. Large breed experience is essential for managing dogs like Pugs successfully. You could say that he resembles a Giant Schnauzer / Labradoodle / Black Russian Terrier or French Briard. Based on those types, characteristic and temperaments large breed experience is ideal.
