Pugsy is a Pug boy who is turning 8 years old this month. He was rehomed to his owner after living in a home where the smaller children pulled his tail. Pugsy is neutered but does have to have his vaccinations every couple of years, his new owners need to be aware that when he is regularly vaccinated he suffers from fits. Pugsy can also suffer from eye infections quite often.
The vet said some older dogs don’t respond on vaccinations too well, so we decided is best for him to do him every two years and he is extremely healthy now and hasn’t suffered from fits or infections.
Pugsy is good with all animals, chickens, cats, dogs and rabbits. He would benefit a home with other animals as he suffers from separation anxiety so best home for him is where someone is in most of the time. His current owner does leave him for 8 hours, 4 to 5 days a week and he isn’t destructive but he cries sometimes on the windowsill when he is left and sits there until his owner returns.
He is like your shadow, he just loves company. He must live with other dogs as he loves doggy companion. Typical pug, loves food he likes to go for a walk, so would benefit from an active home. He is good with kids but we would prefer to rehome with older ones. See the About Us tab at the end of this page for details of how to contact Pugsy’s rescue.
