Puppy – 5 year old male Newfoundland Cross
Puppy is a beautiful, big Newfoundland cross. He is a male aged about 5 years old. Puppy is a friendly, loving, low maintenance dog who loves water. He is used to being around horses. Puppy will pull on the lead and so is walked on a Halti, but he is more used to being walked off the lead. His recall is good, although, when out, he rarely strays far from his owner anyway. Puppy is being very reluctantly rehomed due to a change in the owner’s circumstances.
*A note from Puppy’s foster family:
Teddy (as in Teddy Bear as James thinks he is half bear) is a lovely
hunk of love. He is such a gentle giant gentleman, perfect house guest, fully house trained and no destruction. He is fantastic off the lead, great recall, great with other dogs, loves water and is so soft with the children. He pulls a bit on the lead put perfect with a halti. He will play fetch the ball for hours. He spent 5 months in a kennel so is desperate to be with company so a bit wimpy at night and he does have a bit of separation anxiety when you leave him where he barks but with TLC he will get over this. He loves the car and after singing for ten minutes because he loves it so much he settles down. You look into his big beautiful eyes and it makes you want to cry, he just loves being with human warmth and wants his forever home
