Quint – 10 week old male Rhodesian Ridgeback

Quint is a 10 week old male Rhodesian Ridgeback. Quint has come to us as he has a very undershot jaw. His lower jaw is only a third of the length of his top jaw. This poses Quint very little problems and he is doing really well in foster. In terms of issues going forward the only potential problem will be his adult teeth when they come through. As his lower teeth will sit inside of his upper jaw, there is the potential for his bottom teeth to rub on his upper gums and roof of his mouth. If this does occur then the teeth that care causing the problem are usually removed as this is the only way to resolve things.

Currently he is doing fantastically and is a really adorable little lad whom every loves. He has no issues eating and can inhale his food the same as any pup. He is doing great in foster and loves other dogs, he would really like another dog to play with in his new home if possible, equally as long as he gets lots of continued socialisation and human interaction he could be re homed as an only dog. We would really like applicants from people with breed experience.

Quint was tiny when he came to us but has gained weight and condition well and is just a bundle of puppy fun, as you can imagine he poops, pee’s chews and has razor sharp teeth that he just loves to chew your toes with! Please only apply if you have the time and patience to dedicate to his training and socialisation, he is an adorable cute puppy but he will grow into a large adult dog needing an active home that can offer mental as well as physical stimulation.
