Ralph is approximately 3 years old. He has had a sad life but is now living life to the full happily in foster with his foster mum, another dog and a cat. He can be homed with children (although a quieter home would be nicer for him) and certainly a household with visiting children is fine. Cats, dogs, people you name it he’s just so darn friendly! He was bought or possibly adopted by a family in Romania around 5 weeks old way too young. He lived in the house with kids and had a pets life until he grew to be an adult where he was then shut out and left to wander the streets.
That’s where a dear rescuer met him playing with children in the street. She messaged us in the UK to ask for help. With the owners permission she took him to a safe kennel in Romania and a few months later he made his way to his new life in the UK. However, possibly due to malnutrition as a pup he was found to have hip dysplasia. He has had huge amounts of hydrotherapy, physiotherapy and an operation and we are happy to say he is now pain free, active and will not need future operations.
But many adopters have been put off by his past hip issues. So long as he is not over worked he is happy to run jump and play on daily walkies and potter around the house. Did I mention the perfect recall? Ralph is medium sized He is in foster in West Sussex.
