Reggie and Percy – 21 month old male Boxers
Double Trouble alert! Percy and Reggie are 21 month old male Boxers who need a home together, they were rehomed back in October 2012 but need a new home again due to their owners working hours changing. Reggie and Percy are litter mates and have never been apart, they are both are microchipped, fully vaccinated and neutered. They will happily sleep and play together all day, they do get narky with one another from time to time and Reggie does like a break from Percy but not for too long as they start to fret for each other.
They are double the trouble as when one finds something fun to do the other has to do it too! They have both attended puppy class from 16 weeks old and know basic commands sit, down, off, enough, leave and kiss they would benefit from more training though. They do walk ok on their leads but everything is still new and exciting to them so they do pull but are easily corrected after a few minutes and will need to continue with their lead training. They have never lived with cats and they will chase them off. Percy gets excited round children where as Reggie is quite calm around them. They can be ok with other dogs if introduced properly, they just need more socialisation and need to learn some manners when meeting other dogs onlead.
They will need to go to a boxer experienced home and are used to someone been round for the majority of the day, they are crate trained but have been doing really well just lately being left with the run of the house for a few hours, they are house trained and will let you know when they want to go out even if it’s at 4 in the morning. Percy is definitely the brains of the duo and Reggie is the braun.
