Rex – 8 week old male Border Terrier Cross

Rex is an 8 week old male Border Terrier Cross. Gorgeous little Rex has come into rescue after being saved by one of our lovely dog wardens. This poor little lad was being abandoned when his owners moved on. Luckily for him our angel was around and whisked him to safety. He is adorable and a bold little fella who is full of mischief as you would expect from a pup.

Yep no lies, he will, and does frequently pee, he will poop and yes he has sharp teeth. He is bold with other dogs and will happily let them know if they are being too much with him, he has met the cat and been firmly put in his place – a dog savvy cat will cope with him with as he did listen when told firmly that the cat is the boss. He has been settling really well in his crate at night and was quiet and happy to settle with the other dogs. He currently knows nothing of a lead or walking, his foster mum will start this training with him but it will be on going.

We know he looks cute but please look beyond this and consider fully the commitment he needs 15 YEARS, if he is lucky, can you say honestly that you have the time and patience and dedication that he needs? He has already been let down, we want his next home to be the one he stays in for the rest of his life. He will need to attend training classes when older to ensure he grows into a well rounded social adult. We do not know what he is crossed with but he does have the look of a border terrier cross chi? Whatever he grows into with the right home will be wonderful.

Rex has had his first vaccination, been micro chipped, and is up to date with flea and worming treatment. He will need to be neutered at the correct time as part of his adoption contract, (reduced cost neutering is available at our vets). He is currently being fostered in Tatsfied Surrey, TN16.
