Rhubarb

Rhubarb is a 10 months old cross-breed. She was found wandering outside one of the Battersea branches back in July 06, she was only 3-4 months old at the time and has been in kennels ever since. Rhubarb is a great youngster with so much potential, she just needs guidence and consistency.

Being a young pup when she first arrived she has missed out on so much and will need patient owners while she is settling in to a home environment, kennels is all she has really known. Rhubarb is very intelligent, willing to learn and a trainable young dog so with direction she will blossom.

Rhubarb is looking for experienced owners prepared for all that comes with a young rescue dog. Ideal dog for people who are interested in participating in agility or have an active outdoor lifestyle, she is no couch potato and needs plenty of stimulation.

Cheeky and social girl around other dogs, will need continued socialising with other dogs. Ideally needs to be the only dog in the home as she needs to develop and will need time dedicated to her. Unfortunately she cannot live with young children, teenagers would be considered.

Rhubarb is very friendly and loving but can be worried by new people and environments, so will need further social work. Being a young dog Rhubarb cannot be left alone for long periods, she will bond quickly to her new owners and may be anxious when on her own in the future.

Rhubarb is a real sweetie and will make a fun addition, if you feel you can offer her the home she deserves please contact the rehoming team at Old Windsor on 01784 494443 or come in for a registration interview.
