Robbie is 3 year old female Cross-Breed. Robbie is fostered in Gt Yarmouth (FR001). He looks to have some German Shepherd in him but this is guess work! Robbie is very friendly with other dogs, he really just wants to play. I have 3 very laid back dogs, and one not so laid back. In fact she’s a bolshy little madam! He’s not quite sure about her yet as she keeps telling him off! He’s completely fine with her though. He avoids eye contact with her when she’s being a demon and moves away. He’s very good in his crate. In fact, he spends most of his time in there with the door open. It’s his ‘safe’ place.
Robbie showed a little interest in my cat when he first arrived, but I distracted him with ease and now he shows no reaction when she’s near. There is no attempt to chase her. Robbie is VERY loving. He’s actually extremely calm for one so young. He does jump up when he gets excited, but this is again an entirely fixable issue. He gets down immediately when you point and say ‘down’. He’s just very pleased to see you! He’s proving to be very bright. I think in the right home he would flourish and be a possible candidate for agility.
He’s a little shy when he first meets you, but shows no aggression whatsoever. He’s just a little unsure which is understandable given his background (he was rescued from a High kill shelter). In a nutshell, Robbie is a VERY loving and bright young lad. He appears to be housetrained, which is a happy bonus! He settles well at night and as mentioned is very happy to settle in his crate.
Robbie does need to live with at least one other dog.
